The leadership team sets strategy and is focused on continuous research and development efforts to provide customers with quality railroad products.
Since being named CEO, Dave has led major initiatives for Railway Equipment Company (RECo), a fully-owned subsidiary of The Lakeland Companies, around cross-company collaboration, safety, and talent development. His formation of an Executive Leadership Team has helped both strengthen RECo’s corporate culture and deliver a stronger overall value proposition for customers.
A 40-year veteran of RECo, Dave joined the company as an inside sales representative for Lakeland’s Extron business unit. He subsequently moved to a sales role, extending the company’s switch heater products to railroads, which ultimately lead to the creation of Railway Equipment Co. Dave also oversaw RECo’s entry into gas hot air blower snow melter systems and the E Z Gate® crossing arm business. The company further expanded its railroad offerings in 2000 with the acquisition of Cragg Railchargers®.
Executive VP, COO
Gregg oversees operations at Railway Equipment Company (RECo), and his primary focus has been to better integrate the capabilities and skills of the more than 250 employees across those business units – including engineers, software developers, technicians, fabricators and welders – to enable RECo to better fulfill its promise to be a complete partner for its customers.
Gregg joined RECo in 1992 as a control systems engineer for Control Assemblies and subsequently launched the Control Assemblies OEM division. In 2000, he was named the head of Machine Assemblies. Gregg become vice president and general manager for RECo in 2004. Gregg was also integral to the launch of RRAMAC, a remote monitoring and asset management company.

Joe has more than 10 years of experience in the rail industry. His responsibilities with Railway Equipment Company (RECo) are centered around managing the manufacturing and supply of differentiated products tot help railway customers meet their shippers’ needs.
Joe’s primary focus is on revenue growth and product breadth to ensure RECo is well-positioned to heavily invest in research and development while continually raising the level of service for rail transportation.
Assistant Vice President of Operations
Immanuel oversees the day-to-day production, purchasing, engineering and customer service for Railway Equipment Company (RECo). Immanuel has spent nearly two decades with RECo refining his product knowledge, management of operations, and leadership skills.
