Attaching steel tie ducts to the rail can create vibration problems in gas or electric hot air track switch snow melters. RECO provides flexible stainless steel offset ducts to help alleviate this problem.

Straight flexible ducting is also available to connect the steel tie duct to a through-tie duct where alignment of the two units is a concern. The ducts are made of 304 stainless steel and are of corrugated interlock construction with 0.25” flanges welded to the duct.

The flexible ducts offered by RECO have the same bolt pattern as all other RECO duct work styles and are interconnectible.

The nominal lengths shown below are expandable by up to 10%.
